On Memorial Day Weekend in the heart of Anderson Valley, enjoy “Films that Evoke the Senses,” as our Cinema in the Vineyards program showcases agrarian and country living, sustainable farming, and the farm-to-table movement. This celebration of community explores the future of food and the history of wine, featuring films from around the world paired with special events highlighting the best of this rural enclave.  Our special guest presenter this year will be Leslie Sbrocco of the Bay Area television program Check, Please!


Friday, May 27

Opening Reception and Elevated Tasting

5:30 pm, The Madrones, $45

Mingle with winemakers, filmmakers, and our VIP guests at this exclusive reception, as you ring in our 2016 program with delectable small bites prepared by Janelle Weaver of the Bewildered Pig and paired with top-tier wines. Hear from the winemakers themselves, as well as our sommeliers, at this intimate discussion and tasting of three Philo Collective wines.

Film: Children's Program

Farm & Table Fair

11:00 am – 3:00 pm, The Madrones

Partake in the fruits of local farmers’ labor and support sustainable agriculture at our Farm & Table Fair, which showcases local farmers, artisans, and chefs. Join your fellow festival attendees for a taste of Anderson Valley, featuring farm-fresh fare, activities for children and families, culinary demonstrations, Bite Hard Cider, and more, at this benefit for local Anderson Valley nonprofits. 100% of the proceeds from Bite Hard Cider sales will go to charity, as well as a portion of the proceeds from the rest of the fair.


Wine by the Glass

11:00 am – 5:00 pm, Balo Vineyards Tasting Room

Film: Art House

“Some artists don’t just create masterpieces – they live in them.” The homes featured in this artful documentary incorporate a unique architectural typology characterized by a DIY aesthetic, the appropriation of building techniques from art practice, and a fierce spirit of individual expression in an age of architectural standardization.

Film: The Organic Life
